90 minute Session: $225.00
In person sessions are offered in my office in Clayton. I also offer online video counseling (telehealth). Telehealth is a HIPPA compliant online format very similar to skype. Some couples find it convenient to login to video sessions from home.
Gottman Relationship Checkup Assessment: $175
After our initial meeting each of you will complete a comprehensive assessment, which gathers research about your relationship so that we can take a customized approach in your sessions. Using a confidential and HIPAA compliant online tool, you and your partner will answer questions across a variety of dimensions. This 480 question assessment is to be completed individually on your own time outside of the session. The time it takes to complete varies, but averages about two hours.
The assessment gathers information on:
- Parenting
- Housework
- Finances
- Trust
- Individual areas of concern
Core questions cover:
- Friendship and intimacy in your relationship
- How well you know your partner
- How you manage emotions and conflict
- Your shared values and goals
- What drives meaning in your life
HOW THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS WORKS
- Accept your online invitation
Your therapist will send each of you a separate email inviting you to The Gottman Relationship Checkup.
- Create a private profile
Once you have accepted the email invitation to join The Gottman Relationship Checkup, you and your partner will each create individual, separate profiles.
- Complete the questionnaire
You and your partner can each complete your own questionnaire privately and at your convenience. In order to preserve the integrity and accuracy of the tool, you are encouraged not to share your responses with one another.
When you have both completed your individual questionnaires, your therapist will be notified
and will be able to securely log in to review your scores and the analysis of your relationship. Your therapist will be able to discuss the results and create a customized plan for strengthening your relationship.
